Recipe: Tagliatelle with chicken and peach
You might find this sound pretty weird. As Peach is not one of the first things you’d think of when you will make a pasta recipe. However I started to make this some years ago and I still make it once in a while!
One of my favorites
This recipe is something I have found on the internet loooong ago and kept on making over and over again! It is still one of my favorites. When I got the challenge from Parrano to use their new Robusto Cheese Flakes in a dish I didn’t have to think long before I decided to make this. Time to share a pasta made for sweet tooths like me!
What do you need (4p.)
- Tagliatelle for 4 persons
- 400g chicken
- A package of mushrooms (+/- 400g)
- 1 leek (= prei voor de Dutchies)
- 1 big can of peach on syrup
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Italian spices
- Chicken spices
- Boursin or another cream cheese with spices
- Parrano Robusto Cheese Flakes
How to make it:
Cook the tagliatelle. Cut the chicken, mushrooms and peach into pieces and the leek into rings. Fry the chicken light brown with some chicken spices. Crush and add the garlic. Add the mushrooms. Bake a few minutes. Add the leek. Melt the Boursin or cream cheese on top of the sauce-mix. Add the peach and two table spoons of the peach syrup. Let this warm up for a minute. Add a lot of Italian spices to taste.
Serve the tagliatelle and put some of the sauce on top. To finish it: add the Parrano Robusto flakes! Your pasta with a sweet finishing touch is ready! Bon appetit!
Let me know when you made it! I am curious for the results! Mmmmm…
